Noted Editor and Wireless Experts Set to Keynote and Share Financial Forecasting

Tuesday, July 8, 2003, Alexandria, Va. – PCIA – The Wireless Infrastructure Association announced today that Andrew Seybold, Editor-In-Chief of the Forbes/Andrew Seybold's Wireless Outlook, David Porte, CEO of OpenCell and Keith Kaczmarek, CTO of Fiber Tower have signed on as keynote speakers at the PCIA Wireless Infrastructure Conference & Expo, October 1–3 in Hollywood, Florida at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa.

The three will participate as keynote speakers to be featured on October 3 of the PCIA Wireless Infrastructure Expo & Conference. Their keynote address is called The Wireless Infrastructure Industry of Tomorrow and will give attendees a forecast of the future of the tower industry, tips on what’s hot in tower investments and the next big technology breakthroughs.

“ Attendees are going to hear things from these three distinguished speakers that could significantly change their 2004 tower industry marketing and investment plans,” said Jay Kitchen, PCIA President & CEO. “We’ve got three powerhouse business leaders who are coming loaded with financial and tech trend forecasts. Our attendees deserve speakers of this high caliber.”

Seybold has long been considered one of the industry’s leading experts on wireless communications. Wireless Outlook is an insider’s guide to what stocks to buy and why and gives readers news and information from the front lines of the wireless revolution.

Porte’s OpenCell is the new multi-tenant, multi-protocol, distributed RF system designed to get wireless coverage and capacity into areas where it's needed most. It is an open access platform simultaneously supporting multiple services and applications for wireless voice, data, and video.

With more than 17 years of wireless telecommunications experience, Keith Kaczmarek has played prominent technology and operations leadership roles at Teligent, Nextel, AirTouch, PrimeCo and GTE. Keith's expertise spans multiple technologies and business operations including startup ventures and corporate giants.

“ These three tower industry business experts on the PCIA Wireless Infrastructure Conference & Expo stage is a coup,” said Kitchen. “PCIA has the clout to get them all in one place, at one time and our attendees and exhibitors get the benefit. This is a business show and these three speakers underscore PCIA’s commitment to business.”

Kitchen promises several other major announcements in the coming weeks as PCIA signs on more conference speakers and new exhibitors to its Wireless Infrastructure Conference & Expo.
