Calling all PCIA SOMA Members
SOMA Pioneer Council will hold a kick-off reception at PCIA Show in October

Tuesday, April 6, 2004, Alexandria, VA --- PCIA, the Wireless Infrastructure Association is putting out a call for all former Site Owners Managers Alliance (SOMA) members to contact the association at their earliest opportunity so they can be invited to the first-ever SOMA Pioneer Council Reception at PCIA's Wireless Infrastructure Conference & Expo, October 5-7, 2004 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Dallas, TX. Message Center Management will sponsor the SOMA Pioneer Council Reception.

The SOMA Pioneer Council is an exclusive networking group for founding PCIA members affiliated with SOMA who share a history of supporting PCIA and leading the association and the tower industry. The group will meet for the first time in over two years at the SOMA Pioneer Council Reception to be held in conjunction with PCIA's Wireless Infrastructure Conference & Expo.

"This is a chance for all the leaders in this industry to reunite to share their experiences, honor founding members' contributions, establish contact with one another and communicate the history of the industry," said Maria Scotti, Director of Message Center Management and Co-chair of the SOMA Pioneer Council.

Ms. Scotti added that the only way to get an invitation is to let PCIA staff know where you are and your contact information by e-mailing rick.harris@pcia.com or calling him at 703-535-7433.

Sheldon Moss, Director of Government Affairs for Crown Castle USA and Co-Chair of the SOMA Pioneer Council said, "We're going to spend the next few months looking for former SOMA members so we can build our invitation list. Our plan is to publish the contacts on the web soon. We'll then highlight the people we're looking for so they can get an invitation too."

The SOMA Pioneer Council Reception will also feature an awards ceremony to honor three of its founding members, their inductions into the SOMA Pioneer Council Hall of Fame, and the unveiling of a new charitable scholarship fund. The event will conclude with food and music and industry networking.

"This is going to be one of the most sought after tickets at our show," said Jay Kitchen, President and CEO of PCIA-The Wireless Infrastructure Association. "Everyone wants to get together again and the SOMA Pioneer Council is the place we're going to do that. It's going to be a reunion of the legends in this industry."
