Infrastructure News Service Goes Online February '04 January 5, 2004, Alexandria, Va. -- PCIA, The Wireless Infrastructure Association announced its plans today to launch the Wireless Infrastructure News Service (WINS), an online news service exclusively for tower, wireless infrastructure and communications companies and their staff professionals. As the association of record for the tower and wireless infrastructure industries, PCIA will serve as the aggregator for the industry's news as well as report on the community of businesses that generate it. WINS will be sent weekly to more than 17,000 communications professionals that are a part of the wireless industries. "This industry lacks its own news resource focused solely on the concerns and businesses of the tower, siting and wireless network market segment," said Jay Kitchen, President and CEO of PCIA. "WINS will change that." PCIA will launch WINS on February 2, 2004 and it will feature business news, regular columnists, regulatory updates, official PCIA comments to the FCC and other agencies. Regular features include the People Section to see who's moving where in the industry, a New Products Section featuring product announcements on the latest technologies and services and a new feature called "Zoning Watch" to track zoning issues throughout the country. "PCIA is creating a tightly focused promotional vehicle for the industry with expert contributors providing the best quality content," said Kitchen. "We will inform and promote this industry vigorously." PCIA is also accepting advertising on its WINS site. For more information
